PRX: Wary of Cats

Hi friend of PRX,

They purr, they cuddle, they mew.

And they kill. A report out today says roaming cats polish off 3.7 BILLION birds in the wild every year. We’re thinking twice about puddytats.

For some, cats are almost perfect, or they can do anything we can (watch out for F-bomb).

And birds? They tweet, and sing to mark the season.

We’ll let you pick the winner!

  1. Please remember that cats are just being cats (predators) if/when they are outside in nature. If some irresponsible cat owners insist on letting their pets roam free, the blame should be put on the cat owners, not the cats. Stats have proven domestic cats live longer, better, healthier lives when kept indoors. 50+ yrs of living w/cats have made me a believer in this. Please put the blame where the blame is due. thanks-
