PRX Emancipates Listening

Hi friend of PRX,

Sitting in the movie, we forgot for a moment that Daniel Day Lewis hadn’t actually become Abe Lincoln.

Might we suggest that instead of going to the theatre or making legislative sausage, Mr. Lincoln could have spent a few moments listening to, oh, young producers gathered in his native Illinois at Third Coast, or enjoying music familiar to his time. Maybe learning more about Native Americans. Or the deep lessons from the Civil War.
