PRX Looks at Bullying

Hi friend of PRX,

No jokes this week.

The trial began today for the Rutgers University student charged with secretly using a webcam to watch his gay roommate in intimate acts. The roommate committed suicide. The case has been labeled as cyber bullying.

Bullying takes place in all sorts of settings, in many forms.

Our special on the topic, called Bullied, is available on PRX starting today.

Generation PRX worked with youth radio groups around the country, Connecticut Public Radio, Latitude News, and others to produce a special reported and hosted by teens. The Motorola Mobility Fund provided support.

Listen and consider airing this timely, collaborative work.
