A Poet’s Almanac

Think you don’t like hearing poetry on the radio? Well I’ve got news for you: you’re wrong. This week we bring you a few new short and sweet pieces from host Curtis Fox’s Poetry Off the Shelf series: first, A Cedary Fragrance by Jane Hirshfield, then Do You Love Me by Robert Wrigley, and wrapping it up with Hard Rain by Tony Hoagland. Download and listen in the springtime sun. (Unless there’s a blizzard, which there is, today here in Boston. In that case just go back to bed.)

Poetry Off the Shelf is created by The Poetry Foundation. Check out their website for a surprisingly thorough good time.
Intro music: Sad Sam, by Sine Nomine.
