Today’s podcast is delicious: The Sounds of Lunch from Ken Cormier. In three minutes it captures the burden of full-time creativity. And with some great sound.

Ken says of his series, The Lumberyard:

The main thing we decided was that we would not include explanations, interviews, bios, or any kind of chatty stuff. The show simulates the experience of leafing through a literary journal, where you might not know anything about what you’re reading besides the author’s name and the title. Since we couldn’t include visual art on the radio, we included musical features, usually singer/songwriters and indie pop bands. I’m constantly seeking out and recording writers now. Each episode is a lot of fun to put together.

Intro music: Creamcheese by James Shuttleworth.
